"It was the difference between being draged into the arena to face a battle to the death, and walking into the arena with your head held high. Some people, perhaps, would say there was little to choose between the 2 ways, but Dumbledore knew--and so do I, thought Harry, with a rush of fierce pride, and so did my parents--that there was all the difference in the world."
Harry thinks his life would be perfect, had his parents only lived. Things would not look so desperate, and he certainly would never have to worry about anything. Right?
This is a story that asks that painful question we all deal with at some time or another: what might have been. This is a look at one possible answer, particularly where Harry and Ginny are concerned.
This is a oneshot, post-final battle type thing...I wasn't really sure what category it belonged in, so I kind of stuck it here.
