Greetings Eathrlings! My name is actually Minerva, though Evenstar is from Lord of the Rings. I am a Virgo from Jersey, England that has lost her sanity!

I LOVE TO READ fantasy books and poetry. The only works I cherish that are not those genres are A Separate Peace, The Outsiders, and Philippa Gregory's books.

Emily Dickinson, Longfellow, Robert Frost, and Shakespeare are the poets I enjoy most.

My favourite fantasies are: Lord of the Rings, Inheritance Trilogy, Crown Duel, Abarat, The Bartimaeus Trilogy, Young Wizards, Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, The Thief Lord, The Wheel of Time, The Death Gate Cycle, The Adept, & Artemis Fowl.

I ship:

James/Lily - probably my favourite couple since I prefer the Marauder era over Harry's era.

Hermione/Draco - in the books I know Hermione shall end up with Ron, but I prefer fan fictions where she is with Draco because I dislike Ron; I think he is funny, but terribly shallow.

Remus/Sirius - I know many of you are thinking,"Oh my gosh! Slash...EW!" Well, relax because I have very few stories where they are together and the ones I do have contain warnings, however, if homosexuality does bother you I pity you for being prejudice and closed-minded. I know Remus is with Tonks in the books, however, I am passionately in love with Remus. I found Tonks infuriatingly inquisitive and unorganised since Order of the Phoenix, so Remus is either Sirius' or HE'S MINE! Thanks, I just wanted to make that clear. lol

Favourite Quotes:

The greatest ignorance is to reject something you known nothing about. & Don't judge those who try and fail. Judge only those who fail to try. & Don't wait for your ship to come in. Row out to meet it. H. Jackson Brown

When we walk to the edge of all the light we have and take the step into the darkness of the unkown, we must believe that one of two things will happen. There will be something solid for us to stand on or we will be taught to fly. Patrick Overton

What if Harry didn't grow up with the Dursleys? What if, after all those threats, they finally left him at an orphanage? Is our hero still the same? It seems the wizarding world is in for a surprise... AU, first year.

'Maybe the creepy outfit was just for show. After all, he could much friendlier once you got know him. Maybe he'd even explain some of the magical world to Harry and Blaise. Like why everyone was wearing a dress…'

That's so funny! I really like this; hope you'll continue!

10/10! You truly have a talent for humour! *adds author to faves* The parts I liked best were:

1   "Turns him on.

I really wanted to know that. Thank you Sirius.

No problem.

I think he drooled on his pants.

Peter, Peter, Peter, THAT is not drool...Be ready to clean my dirty boxers Padfoot.

I look forward to it. I’ve always wondered how you got that butt of yours.

Next full moon, I’m going to eat all of you. "

2   "I think your butt is fat.

That was uncalled for.

So was the fact that you just waltzed your pretty little self…You think I’m pretty?...I think I’ll take her up near the lake and give her a nice little dinner while everyone is eating in the Great Hall. What do you think?

I THINK YOU SHOULD DIE!"

  "DON’T talk to me Sirius.

Moony, I said I was sorry like a bagillion times!

Bagillion isn’t even a word you dolt. And sorry doesn’t even cut it. You got me a P for the assignment AND now, we have detention tonight cleaning up Greenhouse Seven. Good job.

Why thank you...This is so interesting...Just because I’m masculine, extremely hot, have a nice arse, can get any girl I wanted, AND have a wonderful singing voice doesn’t mean you need to take that out on me. It’s just who I am.

So Moony, have you ever tried dog? Heard their tasty.

Over the line.

You’ve already crossed it.

No way. I made the bloody line."

I love this song, so I had to read this fic. Merlin, I love Remus, and if he actually dies in book 7 I think I shall go into mourning for eternity. This fic was depressing, like it says, but twas very well-written it. I like this line: "I remember the arguments he and Hermione used to have… and I used to pray that they would shut up. I would give anything to hear them fight once more." Having Harry hear Fawkes' song when he dies is a brilliant touch! 10!

This was hilarious! I couldn’t stop laughing! I loved How Remus kept missing his cues and the ending was priceless!!! I’ll tell you my three fave quotes from the story:
1     “So James, what kind of underwear does dear, sweet Lily wear?

Well you see, the one’s I stole were ---

STOP NOW!

Shush Moony, I want to hear this.

Peter… not you too.

We’ve corrupted another one! MWAHAHA!”
2     “I’m going mad hanging around Moony and Wormy all day. Not that I don’t love you guys but James… well James is James.

Peter, stop crying. “
3     “Sirius, I think you’ve gone mad. Go to Madame Pomfrey and ask for some drugs.

I already tried to get some so Sirius would shut up but Poppy refused unless I put on a hospital gown and played ‘doctor’ with her.

Is that why you’re so twitchy lately?

I’d rather not talk about it.”

*gives you a ten and adds fic to favourites*

Author's Response: *blushes* thanks so much! i\'m happy you enjoyed this and thanks for taking the time out to pick out your favorite quotes too :o) If you like, check out the first of this two part rambling. Thanks again!!

You're an excellent humour writer, but I personally think dark, angsty works are your strongest talent. *applauds*

Author's Response: Yay, thank you! Personally I agree, even though there are so many more humour fans out there. I suppose people just find it easier to get into humour.

I think that this is my favourite one of your works besides Tom Riddle and The Half-Blood Prince. You ought to put that on here; all would ador it (or else)! I love this fic because tis dramatic and moving, like the plot calls for, but it also has comic relief parts. Not to mention that everyone is in character and tis splendidly written!

Author's Response:

Thanks, I actually prefer this story to all my others now; before it was Vampyr as that was my first story. Now that it\'s finished - all grown up and moved away - I\'ve become really, really attached to IBTW, I\'ll be sad when it\'s over!

I\'d love to post TR+HBP here, but if you go to my bio you\'ll see that the first three chapters of it are far too short for this site\'s rules. I wrote it before MNff tightened up their rules, that\'s why the first few chapters are so short and then it starts getting longer.

You may have noticed that the same thing happened with the second chapter of this story, and it will with the third too, I added some extra description and dialogue to lengthen it. I feel it added nicely to the story though.

I don\'t want to do the same to TM+HBP, as it\'s been finished so long now and it was received so well I\'d rather not tamper with it.

Woooow, this is long, isn\'t it?

How Hermione and Draco's relationship started to form with the insults and awkward revelations was very believable and well-done. Imagining everyone's expressions at the end was hilarious!
