I am a 33 yo mom with a wonderful husband and 5 1/2 yo son, who left a big 4 accounting firm after 10 years there last year to start her own scrapbooking store.

I love all things Harry Potter and thoroughly enjoy the Wizardtales site!

It's Ginny's birthday and she can't seem to get away from the cruelty of her brothers Fred and George. Evil stuffed animal ducks, duck hats, butterbeer and lots of laughs! Read to find out what happens!

Mallory - This was very, very cute, and I love it that you got Harry and Ginny back together at the end! And while I can't quite see Mrs. Weasley subjecting poor Ginny to that torture at 17, you perfectly nailed the Twins' reactions (and resulting torture/jokes, etc.) if she did! Great job! Rachael

Author's Response: Well, I probably should have put more of an explanation for Mrs. Weasley babying Ginny, but I felt that my main focus in this story was dialogue. Haha. My basic reasoning for Mrs. Weasley giving Ginny a birthday party like that is because she's the only girl in the family, and she's the youngest--sometimes it's harder for the parents to let go of their youngest kids. hehe I'm glad you enjoyed it! and thanks for looking over my work! I really appreciate it!

Chapter 1: Quack, Quack, Quack
I feel somewhat confident that I've gone down a mostly untravelled path with the pairing in this story, but I'll leave it for a bit of a surprise. This is my first challenge story. I've got 4 of the 5 bonus phrases in here, though I've waved the white flag on the cake description. Hope you enjoy it!

I really, really liked this! I would love to see another chapter with Dudley's interaction with Harry, and to see if he escaped the party without extra limbs or bat-bogeys flying around his face! :-) Also, your characterization of Luna was wonderful...I could totally envision Hermione tearing out her hair while talking to her and trying to remain nice. Loved it! Great job, and I look forward to more of your writing! Rachael

Chapter 1: Happy Birthday!

Post-HBP *Spoiler warning*Suddenly a loud bang sounded from across the garden and some Weasleys’ Wildfire Whizbangs lighted up the sky, but before Harry could admire them, a second loudest bang sounded. The cake had exploded.

Every foul and respectful thought he had for him. And while he knew now why he had done it, he would never forgive Severus Snape for killing Albus Dumbledore. They both nodded curtly, and after Harry had kindly thanked Snape for coming, he returned to his friends. Heh. While I happen to agree with you that Snape is still on the Light side, this is an incredible way to describe how I imagine Harry feels toward him. I especially like the every fould and respectful thought You are quite profound at times. the heavy looking sugary Philosopher’s Stone landing on Snape’s crooked nose. HAHAHAHA! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy! *Sigh* I do really love the way you write my favorit couple. This was just beautiful.

Great job on this story so far. I love reading fics where Harry stands up for himself and kicks some arse along the way. I also especially like Ron's first letter to Harry - I prefer to think of Ron feeling that way about Harry, as opposed to only being jealous as is so common in a lot of fanfiction. Really nicely done. Great job, and I'm looking forward to seeing where you'll take this story!

Chapter 2: A Walk in the Park
Arthur Weasley is your average young Wizard: shy, timid, messed up. He parted coldly from the girl he loves and he works all summer long for the day he'll see her again. But everything seems to go downhill. Or is it? A romantic one-shot written for the FA V-day challenge. (Molly/Arthur)

Elfis (I don’t remember his last name), who’s very famous. *snicker* nooo..really? This was just beautiful. I loved it. I loved how insecure Arthur was and how much he loves Molly, and how she loves him back. Just wonderful. :)

Chapter 1: Have I told you lately that I love you?

Welcome to the world of S.S. Potter!-- Voldemort may be gone, but evil never dies. FACING FUTURE ONE: THE REVENGE OF THE LIME GREEN BOWLER HAT is a post-Hogwarts story that picks up where TODAY THE TEMPEST LEFT OFF. It is highly recommended that you have read TOWARDS TOMORROW and TODAY THE TEMPEST before you begin the FACING FUTURE series.

What an excellent and exciting chapter! I love Ginny's attitude about scaring the Ministry S*$t-less, LOL. I can't wait to find out what's up with Percy and Fudge and what they did to Madam Bones! Excellent chapter as usual!

What an excellent ending!!! Poor Harry, it's got to be completely unnerving to not have Ginny's voice in his head, or his elements no longer able to protect her. I can't wait to read your new story...this one was excellent!

Wow! This is very close to what I've imagined must have been going on between the 2 of them, in those crucial moments. While the subject matter's not the best, very well written and nicely done! I could picture the "conversation" between the two of them as I read it, intermingling with what I remember of that scene in HBP. Great job!

*dies* I loved, loved, llllllllloooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed This! And, truly, I really think this is my new favorite line in fanfiction: He may have been a bit thick when it came to girls, but he wasn't stupid. Not all the time, at any rate. He did notice some things, especially when Hermione pointed them out. Daily. This was beautiful and wonderful and sweet and a whole bunch of flowery adjectives I can't think of at the moment! While I didn't miss the deep angst of Harry brooding over Sirius' death in HBP, I did think that Ginny would be the one who would help him deal with it - I felt a bit gypped by the lack of that intereaction in the book, and this lovely one-shot helps fill that void. So glad you're here on WT, and I look forward to reading more of your work!

Author's Response: Rachel, Thank you so much for all the incredilby kind words you've given me, since I started HP fanfic. I know what you mean about HBP. I thought for sure that her helping him through everything would be the key bonding experience and all that. How mistaken we were. (shakes head) To be honest, this story, and the ones that will follow, wouldn't be here if not for the encouragement (and occasional squeeing) you've given me. Thank you for that/

“Why…why can’t you leave me alone? Why do you leave me alone?” That's quite poignant, and basically sums up GInny's first 5 years at Hogwarts, doesn't it? He seethed with anger in the thought that a man could cause her so much pain. Dumb, stupid, clueless Harry! *melts* Ok, it's official. I just love the way you write Harry and Ginny! Beautiful, wonderful job!
