I'm a fan of the so-called minor characters--McGonagall (my fave), Neville, Luna, Fred and George, Angelina, Colin Creevey, Cho, etc.

I love new takes on old relationships, though I have a real hard time reading slash (unless it's backed up by believable background, plot twists, and characterizations.)  I have no use for gratuitous violence.

I also like well-fleshed-out, invented characters.  Grace HasVictory's Ariadne McDougal/Remus Lupin ship comes to mind, as does the character of Alexandra in Cheryl78's 'The Snake and the Eagle.'

What if Voldemort chose to mark Neville as his equal instead of Harry? That's the question that this story sets out to answer. Deals mostly with his childhood to date.

Love the grilling of Lily.  Sounds just like the endless battery of questions little kids ask--except with that Potterverse twist.

Wow, eville as Parselmouth.  I'm always having to remind myself that this is an AU fic and everything is upside down.  You make it so natural.

Ooh--creepola.  An touching--Augusta's reaction, I mean: "....he's all I have..."

What a great explanation of magical power.  Muggles have it bottled up inside them.  Sounds rather hopeful, that--the potential may be there for all...

Oh well, that's abit off the subject.  Thanks for another fine read.

Poor Sirius.  But this is a riot.  I laughed all the way through it, especially the part where Sirius had to stop one avenue of explanation because it would have got onto sexual matters and got him into even more trouble with Lily.  **can't stop grinning and all it's your fault**

Wait, it's all **Hallows** isn't it?  But "caught orange-handed" more than makes up for it.  :)

And awwww--the ceremony was most touching.

Ha--ha!  Now Lily is instructing James about the Muggle world, and his questions don't sound much different than the boys' (except that the words are a little bigger.)

Never heard that song before.  Can't wait for the next chapter.

Uh-oh, what's next?  Love the "ain't dead yet" slogan.  Makes me think somehow of the Monty Py plague sketch.
