Interesting start to a story. Jumping straight to Harry when he was thirty was a little bit of a surprise. Harry seems a little different to say the least but I figure that may be with what he had been through, which at the moment I can only take an intelligent guess. I don't know what to make of him yet.

Interesting that you should take the point of view of a dementor. I dont' think I've read a fiction that has done that. You've shown a wonderful insight of your own imagination of what a dementor might actually be, feel (or not) and think. You've done it so well that you had sent shivers up my spine. I never thought a dementor to have power of thought... well a sense of communication between themselves. I never thought of them that way. ~ Illeanah
Author's Response: Thank you! :) I'm not sure how I got the idea, but I have a theory on how dementors are made. I know Jo Rowling has said they sort of spring from the ground, like a fungus, but that is still deliciously vague. Ever wonder what happens to dark wizards, particularly those attacked by dementors, after they die? How do dementors multiply. Here's the real kicker: Who got the dementor's kiss in canon less than two months ago, before the attack on Privet Drive? This dementor USED to have a name...not that he would recall it >:) So yes, this dementor does communicate on a pretty high level -- because he is new. That's my theory, anyway.
