"Man is not an end but a beginning. We are at the beginning of the second week. We are children of the eighth day." ~Thornton Wilder In the aftermath of the second war, nothing has worked out exactly the way anyone thought that it would. The end that everyone sought never came, and life, as they say, went on for the children of the eighth day. A collection of short stories about the lives that were changed by the second war. [Begun before HBP, and therefore AU past OotP.]
My goodness, but your writing of these charcters and their dialogue is marvelously perceptive. This... this is amazing. I am falling in love with this story.
Brilliant.
Heavily based on William Shakespeare's "Macbeth," with Arthur Weasley as Macbeth. Written before HBP was published.
*snerk*
Somehow, I forgot about this one. Sexysexual.
If snerking was an actual verb people used in real life, I would have committed it everytime I read the word sexysexual.
Seriously, I can't stop. It's like a snort halfway down my throat. You're making my brain giggle. Not allowed.
Have I told you before that it's really not fair for you to be equally good at writing humorous drabbles and angsty sentences? The gods really love you, or something.
Dude. Now I have a really, REALLY strange mental image of a drunk brain, giggling and hiccuping.
Forget the gods loving me. I AM A GOD. Um. (Have I mentioned my ego\'s out of control?)
What if Harry didn't grow up with the Dursleys? What if, after all those threats, they finally left him at an orphanage? Is our hero still the same? It seems the wizarding world is in for a surprise... AU, first year.
That was wonderful and brilliant and lovely, and I understand completely why it was recc'd.
I wish the beginning had signified more clearly that it was a letter, but beyond that this was great.
((Also, Postal Service = <3))
This is a oneshot, post-final battle type thing...I wasn't really sure what category it belonged in, so I kind of stuck it here.
“That’s right,” I countered, “All these years you thought I had been asleep that night, but I know–”
Hahahaha. This is marvelous... your writing is excellent, but you should know that by now. Just had to thank you for the laughs in here! Rock on!
