Hiya! I'm a 31-year-old Buckeye who is addicted to Harry Potter (but hey, aren't we all?) I work for a company that publishes local weekly papers and have gone back to school full time for my MLIS. Most of my peers think I'm insane, and I don't contradict them.

That's one heck of a start! You do the character's individual thought processes well, especially Ron's. You provide just enough background without weighing down the action. Hope to see more!

Author's Response: Thank you for your review. Ron's one of my favorite characters so it's rewarding to hear that.

Harry has abandoned the Wizarding world and has taken the fight to the Death Eaters. He is now wanted by both the magical and muggle worlds for various crimes and murders. He leaves no prisoners when it comes to Death Eaters, but now his past is going to catch up with him.

Wow, this is a scary Harry Potter -- admittedly, though, I did think he could potentially go this way at the end of OoTP. One nit: There were three tasks, not four, in the Triwizard Tournament. Otherwise, intriguing start.

Author's Response: I know that there were only three 'official' tasks, but the fourth task was fighting Old Voldie in the graveyard.

Chapter 1: Chapter One

This is a oneshot, post-final battle type thing...I wasn't really sure what category it belonged in, so I kind of stuck it here.

Oh wow, very lovely! This plays like a movie, with the snippets of reactions. A nice touch, making this happen on Halloween, very fitting. It's interesting, you never mention names -- but the descriptions are so well-done, the names aren't needed. Actually, I think this works well for the story. Any of those people could have been us. It made me feel, somehow, like I was reading about the announcement of the end of World War II, although I certainly wasn't around at that time :) But I guess many of the emotions would be the same: relief, jubilation -- and sadness for those lost.

Oh wow, I hope you finish this! That is a good cliffie! The characters are well-done, and I kinda like the touch with Peter being in charge of the flowers. It seems fitting, somehow. Interesting twist that Sirius uses a truth potion (which is no less illegal, but that's not going to concern them ;) One teeny nit: while it's not implicitly stated in canon, Lupin describes Wolfsbane Potion as "fairly recent," and it is strongly implied that it wasn't around when he was a student. Although, on the other hand, one of my mottos has always been "if it doesn't say you can't, then you have free reign." And this is minor, at any rate. I do like how Pettigrew and REmus give Sirius a hard time at the beginning, and the pranks are funny!

Colin Creevey is determined to develop the perfect picture of Luna Lovegood. If only the potions would cooperate... Colin/Luna; a look at living in two worlds. Oneshot.

Very, very cute! I never thought of Colin and Luna, but you know? I wouldn't be surprised if this happened in canon. Those two were *made* for each other! I really like how the tried and true doesn't work in developing Colin's perfect picture of Luna: like her, he has to do something unconventional. Nice touch!

Neat story! From a very different perspective. I'm curious now as to whom the attackers were. Dudley and his gang? That would be my guess.

Author's Response: Thank you for the review :) I started to write it as Harry-gets-saved by a snake thingie... and it got away from me. Yes, I pictured the attackers as being Dudley and his friends. -Crs

sort of non-canon. Post-OotP.
No Idea where it's going or where it's been.
I hope you enjoy.

Heh heh, Ok, the thing with Bellatrix was a bit much for my taste, but there were several moments that were hysterical. "You mean I don't have to cook it first?" Harry asked wide-eyed. "Err ... no?" the dark lord tried weakly ... this was not going right. Loved that exchange. And the thing about the exercise and the hot pink and yellow, LOL.

That was lovely! Very unusual, with the lack of dialogue, but it works. The emotions, the looks, the observations said everything.

Author's Response: Thank you. :) I pretty much suck at writing dialogue in scenes filled with emotions, so I don't. -Crs

It’s a regular day for Paravati: gossipping with Lavender, lusting after hot guys, and listening to her friend’s endless stories about everyone else. She picks the wrong guy to flirt with today, though, and Ginny’s not happy. When her spell causes Parvati to fall in love with an apple, how far will Parvati have to embarrass herself before Ginny’s satisfied that she’s learned her lesson?

Oh my gosh, that was wonderful. That sounds like something Ginny would do. And...an APPLE! Harry the Apple! I had tears running down my face!

Author's Response: Thanks!

Interesting take on a "what if" Not sure it excuses Snape for what he did, unless there's something else at work, in the series.

Author's Response: Thanks. Of course it doesn\'t excuse Snape, I hate him! Lol.
