Hiya! I'm a 31-year-old Buckeye who is addicted to Harry Potter (but hey, aren't we all?) I work for a company that publishes local weekly papers and have gone back to school full time for my MLIS. Most of my peers think I'm insane, and I don't contradict them.

Wow. There's apoetry to this I enjoyed, and the countdown format was effective in creating tension. Regulus is so haunted, so lost -- so sad. Nicely done!

Chapter 1: Seven

This is a missing moment from The Prodigy Of Voldemort. Harry and Charlie surprise Angel with a visit to a place in her past. Will she survive it? Emotionally at least.

I like the addition of a bit more internal conflict, with what Angel is planning to do with Voldemort/Tom. Angel almost seems human here, vulnerable. That would be hard, such strong memories coming back.

Dumbledore has been killed, and Snape and Draco leave Hogwarts (for good?). Where have they gone? What was passing through their minds? A look at a missing scene in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."

Professor McGonagall has had a deep shock, and must come to terms with her grief if she is to be a force for good in the fight against her old schoolmate, Tom Riddle.

Wow, I've seen some stories concerning McGonagall and the aftermath of Dumbledore's death. Yours is the best I've read. You go so deep for such a short story. You feel her lack of confidence, the skeletons in her closet. But I love the show of McGonagall grit at the end, not to mention the fact that while Dumbledore may have been in a class by himself, McGonagall has her own strengths and has more talent and spunk at the end than she gives herself credit for.

Author's Response:

Thanks, Madeline.  *blushes*  Served up by a writer who's own depthful characterizations I much admire, this is real meat and drink for me.

I do love Minerva though and feel that JKR short-shrifted an opportunity to ennoble her character in HBP (deliberately according to one interview)--which is the main reason I wrote this piece.

The death of the ones you love is the greatest shock one can receive. Death can change personalities, and even your whole life. And the worst thing is, as Remus is about to see, you can't go back...

A good take on Remus' reactions to the Potters. It's believable; Remus is usually so calm, so steady -- but as we see in HBP, he has a breaking point.

Awwww...cute! Very sweet -- I love Ginny's responses to Ginny's insecurities.

Author's Response:

Thank you, I think I understand what you mean, and that is what I was going for. I have always felt that recently, Ginny has come to understand Harry better than he understands himself. And that she is the push he needs. Thank you for your review.

An incredible beginning. You paint a very gritty, bleak picture here, one I can almost see for myself. I'm curious where you go from here.

Chapter 1: Prologue

Fred and George have always been inseparable, sharing both a deep friendship and brotherly bond. How will George live when yet another member of his family has fallen into the clutches of Lord Voldemort, especially when this time, it’s his twin?

*sniff* Wow, that was increadibly moving, and so believable. George's pain was palpable. Hermione was great, and Ron's awkwardness spot-on. Lovely, lovely story!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! *blush* I am honoured that you liked it so much!!!

That was incredibly powerful, and so sad. Your descriptions of your settings are well-done. But what makes this is your characters, and the way you describe their emotions. Your Snape was very well-done. It's so sad but believable that he would completely miss the lesson and hide in his shell.

Just why is Remus Lupin a bundle of nerves on the eighth of July? A Ministry ball to celebrate the end of the war gives Remus the perfect excuse to do something he's been meaning to for a long time. Remus/Tonks oneshot.

Awwwwwwww.. that was so sweet! I love the talking alarm clock (that is so like the twins) and Remus' panic. Landsford is so pretentious it's funny! The end line is cute.
