When tragedy strikes, Harry feels that he is completely alone and cannot possible achieve the goal Dumbledore left him - to get rid of the Horcruxes, But then he receives help from the unlikeliest person - but will it be enough?
Something I wrote several years ago...just a little 'color' piece in honor of the day think March 17th . At one time I had planned on making it a multi-chaptered piece, but never got around to it.
Someone other that Ron (another Gryffindor red-head) interrupts Harry's conversation with Sirius, the night that Harry discovers the First Task is dealing with dragons. She decides that Harry needs help with not only the Tournament, but many other things, too and how to have some fun while doing it.
Set during the Triwizard Tournament.
More or less canon pairings, eventually.
May continue beyond the Tournament, up to and including the Horcrux hunt and final battle.
Language, violence and character death.
