I live in Kansas and even in the capital there isn't much to do.  So I read a lot mostly Harry Potter fanfic but I do read some other sci-fi/fantasy books along with some history books.

Along with reading I watch a lot of anime; so much so that I have started learning Japanese so I can watch some of my favorites that have not yet been translated.  Favorites include but not limited to Detective Conan (also known as Case Closed), Inuyasha, Fullmetal Panic, Kenshin, Recca, EscaFlowne and Infinite Ryvius.

I KNEW I had read about Harry's arm like that in another fic! Must say I love that one as well. Hermione drunk and in the school itself!! I've only ever read one other fic where she got drunk (and I've read a lot) but it wasn't AT school! The morning could prove to be funny. And I must say it was very sensitve of Harry to go so far as to remove her watch, most people wouldn't think of that. Anxiously looking forward to the next chapter. Oh, one thing I don't get is how come Ginny is SO mad at Harry when she's with Dean? I mean I realize that she's jealous of his 'relationship' with Luna but.... You know it's no wonder guys don't understand girls, I am one and know that girls do this kind of stuff and I don't understand it.

That was...brilliant...sad...horrible...so many things. Basically it was great!! It all seemed so real....how a 'normal' person would react to the death of a loved one. You are finally able to think about something else for 5 seconds then feel bad because you did. Leaving now to read the next chapter.....

Author's Response: HI, I've left a longer response at the end, but I thought I'd leave a quick message here too. I always feel bad for the character Harry always blaming himself too.....I don't want to give away too much, but somewhere along the line, things have to get better for the poor kid. I hope to hear from you when I post again. Thanks and HUGS to you!!

Okay so if this is how it begins....I'm a little nervous as to how it will end. I just kept seeing the scene from 'Day After Tomorrow' with all the tornadoes. Very well done!

Author's Response: It's cool you should mention 'The Day After Tomorrow." That was a good thought provoking movie. I can't wait to hear from you when you read the chapter called, 'The Ides Of March' It isn't up yet, but I am going to post very quickly now as the story is finished and I want to post it all before the HBP comes out. I hope you will like it, based on what I've read in your reviews...so please let me know if you have time. Thanks! HUGS!

What the......? Did you really just have his legs cut off? I'd be thinking lifes not fair too if I was him....cause in his case it's not.

Author's Response: Cool! (author is currently doing a happy dance at having made someone wonder what happens next) Sitting down again, I can promise that I don't have the guts to hurt characters permanently......maybe....probably.......! I admire J.K.Rowling though. I could never kill off a main character like that....probably not anyway......hmmmmmmm note to author, grow some guts! Seriously though, I've had reviews before that say that 'it is war and people die'....but I figure yeah, I guess in real life that is so, but this is fantasy, so I preserve as many as I can and I like good triumphing over evil any day of the week.........so that' a pretty good indicator of an answer to your question, but still, I'm tickled pink to know readers really wonder about that legs thing........thanks so much!! I've left another response as well for a different review for you as well. Thanks for your time, it means so much to me! HUGS!

It's a very good story.....are you in the medical profession by any chance? I figure the detail you give either have to be due to that or maybe you watch a lot of ER.

Author's Response: Well.........in answer to that question, and here's where I show my age.....I don't watch medical shows, but I was a life guard at one point so we took training, but primarily, I used to watch the old 'Emergency' show...the one from the seventies with Gage and Desoto...'squad fifty one'.........yeah, pretty sad, eh? I also had a friend (who is fine now) who had to have surgery to remove cancer from his chest and he had flatlined on the table and the doctor gave us the gory details....so some of the surgery part was taken looslely from that experience of visiting him every day in the ICU...but he is fine now and I'm happy to report, cancer free for over 19 years! Some of the descriptions of the tubes and stuff was stuff I had seen then and my friend and I were about nineteen at the time all this happened, so it's not easily forgotten. We are friends to this day.......I know, too much information! Can't help it, I love reviews! I will post some more chapters for sure tomorrow and I'd love to hear from you again! Thanks so much for your kind encouragement and for taking the time to review! It was most kind! HUGS!

I absolutely love this story....I admit that I forgot the title so I had to search everywhere for it. So I saved it in my favorites so this won't happen again cause it is truly fantastic. I can't believe that Snape is being 'nice' and I guess giving Harry a hard time of it would be the best way he knows how to help.

I am glad that Tyler is going to be able to go to Hogwarts. I had thought that...maybe he might get to at the begining of this story but I wasn't sure. Hermione and Ron might have been a little...forceful getting Hagrid to go to Harry but I think that they had to in this case. One suggestion that I might make....I have noticed that when you have people saying something you use the opening " marks but fail to put them at the end. This tends to be a tad distracting for a second or so. Thought that you might want to keep an eye out for that. Great chapter as always.

Well I do hope that since you said that you wouldn't kill of a character that this would extend to owls. Angst is okay I guess but I too prefer happy endings...where mostly just the bad guys die. Snape and the twins working together does seem a little odd but hey if it helps Harry out....

Percy is such a GIT!!! I figured you didn't have the 'guts' to kill Hedwig, for which I am glad. I am curious though....you've mentioned Ginny a couple of times hinting that Harry likes her but yet we don't really hear anything about her. Do you intend to include her more later in the story?

Author's Response: Oh hi! Sorry I took so long to respond! Oh yes, Ginny features prominently in this story...I just didn't know that myself until I was half way through the over 750 page completed version. I started to make her more of a main character about half way through this story...so I hate to admit that I had to go back in the earlier writing and kind of 'add her in' where she didn't appear before I'd decided in which direction I was going for Harry's love life, or if I was going there at all. Actually, she becomes a huge part of the power that the Dark Lord knows not.... and yeah, Percy is a git, but I hope that since you're like me and like Happy endings, you won't mind a little bit more of Percy in this story to find out why he is the way he is? I have been, I wouldn't say critisized for not having the 'guts' to kill off a character, but I have received suggestions that perhaps because it is war after all...someone has to go...but it's my story, so we'll see...but it is finished, so I can't go back and change anything major now.......oh, poor Snape!....just kidding. It's late and I have a sense of humour tonight. I hope you like the pairing of Harry and Ginny? I guess I'll find out in your reviews I hope. I love animals, and I couldn't see one harmed even in my story.....so Hedwig is safe. I actually started writing this story to take my mind off the destruction of a valley near my home for a highway that is not needed....so I was so sad about the loss of habitat for the animals and that is why in the story...the valley is saved. I have enjoyed your reivew and the questions you have posed and I really hope to hear from again when I post up a few chapters on Friday. Thanks so much for your kind words and your questions. I love reivews! And I am a person who really appreciates them too! I will be posting a story for the challenge on this site as well and I really hope that you will read my story for that as well and give me your thoughts on it. It will be my first challenge on this particular site, so I'm a little nervous about it. ..gulp! Thanks so much again for your reviews! You are most kind! HUGS!!!

I like how Snape is....nice. I felt that he helped Hedwig because he knew it would make Harry happy. May not have been what you intended..... Poor Snape seems to be trying to help so much but Harry still resents him for all of it.
