I've been reading Harry Potter fanfiction for about three years and writing it for about two.  I've just started to venture into Twilight fanfiction, but have published none at this ime.

I love to read new things and pairings and generally write romance with a bit of humour thrown in.

I'm very friendly, can be chatty, and am almost always upbeat.  I'm a fulltime nurse, mother and wife, so writing is my "me time".  I'm not as good as it as I'd like to be, but I'm learning all the time and appreciate constructive criticism.

Year 6 AU. H/G; R/Hr. Sirius Black is dead, Lord Voldemort failed to learn the entirety of the Prophecy of his defeat, Dolores Umbridge was chased from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and Harry Potter departed once again for 4 Privet Drive. But just because school has ended for summer doesn't mean the war has.

Harry and Ginny must deal with unforseen consequences of the Chamber of Secrets while Fudge plots to control the Boy Who Lived and break the Order of the Phoenix. Fudge's machinations leave Harry cut off from the wizarding world and at the mercy of an out-of-control Vernon Dursley.

And while the wizarding world fights over the fate of the Boy Who Lived, Voldemort awakes forbidden, forgotten Lore to wage his war on the wizarding world.

Alan, this is wonderful.  Thank you for pointing me this way.

I'll admit, I was immediately intrigued by the prologue.  It's apparent that you have a way with expressing emotion through your writing.

The turn you've taken with Harry's tale is very interesting.  I like stories that fill in the missing moments throughout the series.  However, it seems that this is setting up to be much more than "filler".  :)

Although Harry isn't my favourite character, he seems a bit neutered here.  Perhaps this is done purposely to underscore the end effect of the training he's doing with Gracie.  I've never seen him apathetic towards the Dursleys, but then, he is still in a bit of shock, I suppose, from Sirius' death.

That being said, Harry as you've written him has a new depth of emotion that I think was lacking in the series.  He didn't seem that aware of the consequences to the events around him, but you've brought that more to the forefront of your story with his depression over Sirius and his fear for Ginny's safety.

Actually, I'm impressed with all of your characterisations.  Umbridge made me simply squirm while I read her.  The utter feeling of helplessness with her actions was surprising as I'd never felt intimdated by her before.  Congratulations on a new level of creepiness with her.  I enjoyed reading Dumbledore, as I never seem to get his "voice" quite right and I'm more than interested to see what you do with Severus in your tale.

Ah, the Bill/Tonks/Charlie/Fleur storyline...  Hmm, there will be more, yeah?  Some peek into the goings on there, because you know my fluffy little heart craves romantic intrigues!

I'm adding this to my favourites because I don't want to miss an update!

Simply lovely!  You know, I adore Remus and these reflections are truly "him".  I see his relationship with Tonks the same way: at first, annoyed, but intrigued.  I wrote something similar once, but in Tonks' voice.  :)  It was a progression of how she fell in love with him.

I hope you have more of Remus because I really like the way you write him!

Oh, I adored this!  You did a wonderful job taking this canon moment and turning it inside out.

Every thought you gave Edward was not only plausible, but very much in "his voice".  How he marvelled at her lover ooking his nature, but fearing the mundane world...  How he realised that he actually loved her...  How he warred between both hungers...

I was definitely left wanting more from Edward's POV!  Excellent work!
