Grief and anger often go hand in hand - it's such a relief when that one moment strikes when you realize that life just might really be okay again.
Thank you! I was toying with the idea of something going unspoken between two married people for ten years...and decided it was very possible for that to happen. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
The tension, fear and pain build from beginning to end. It was lovely to see if not a happy ending, then at least a moment of peace for all three of them.
Thank you so much. I'm really glad those things came through. I really appreciate the review!
Poor Percy! Success can be so very lonely. You've captured his character beautifully, and his reaction to Charlie being Penelope's date was spot on.
I hope we'll be seeing more of you back here at WT as this was simply outstanding.

Thank you so much, Julie! I do have a few other things I might post.... Thanks for reviewing!
The true history of Galbatorix. Where did he come from? What shaped him into the man he would become? Did he ever truly deserve to be the most hated man in Alagaesia?
The fic that made me famous, first posted years ago at Shurtugal Fan Fiction. This is the fic that made readers everywhere start to wonder - who should they really be rooting for?
Such a refreshing read! You've done a great job of drawing the reader in to the world you're writing about.
It's so very satisfying to see Galbatorix find the place he's been looking for. But all good things come to an end, don't they?
The swing from one emotion to another is beautifully done.
There's a gritty, physical feeling to this chapter. The interaction between Vrael and Galbatorix during the ceremony is tense and exhilirating.
Uh, oh. Trouble's brewing! This chapter, for me, really gives depth to the relationship between Laela and Galbatorix - gives you a sense of their psychological and physical connection.
Utterly gut wrenching and beautifully executed (no pun intended).
This follows Ernie Macmillan and Susan Bones through their 7th year at Hogwarts. It follows the timeline and includes spoilers for thanfiction's Dumbledore's Army and the Year of Darkness series.
I'm so glad you decided to submit this to WT! I like the way you've begun to develop characters that we haven't seen as much of in canon and made them human. I especially enjoyed the way you've portrayed Ernie and Neville not just as their stereotyped characters from the books.
Thank you. I'm glad you recommended this site. I really like Neville - I like how he's grown up through the books. As for Ernie, I really fell in love with the Ernie portrayed in thanfiction's work, and adopted him and have tried to flesh out his and Susan's story in more detail. I hope people enjoy them. Thanks for your help as well on the advice for uploading future chapters and other stories. I'm looking forward to getting more up here soon.
This is the first book in the Alexandra Quick series.
The war against Voldemort never reached America, but American wizarding society has its own problems. For eleven-year-old Alexandra Quick, learning she's a witch will only be the first of many surprises. This story is canon-compliant with the Harry Potter universe, but the characters and settings are all original. I've put a lot of work into envisioning a world as detailed as the original series; I hope you enjoy it.
Your description of Alexandra's essay was incredibly funny! Overall, this was a delightful chapter to read, and I found myself laughing in more than one place.
