I'm a Pacific Northwest mom who discovered fanfiction as a wonderful way to fill the time between soccer practice and diaper changes!

You know, ever since I saw the title in the Recently Added column, I have been singing "Meet me in St. Louis". Of course, this has been going on for several days now...my family thinks I'm going off the deep end, but I'm doing it laughing! Well done!

Author's Response: LOL I do that a lot too.

Ah, yes, only Ginny could look at the Dark Lord and tell him he's let himself go. I'm loving the ways they're escaping - very inventive! Well done!

Author's Response: Thank you, but Fred and George from cannon make it easy... they would invent stuff that cool. :-)

Using Myrtle was ingenious! She's truly a heroine of the ghostly sort, isn't she? Loved the line about taking Fred and George and getting what he deserved. Go Harry, go!

Author's Response: My favortie line of all my stories... ever, so I suppose that's saying something.

Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Those Cursed Dead
Two Days Early by Desslok [Young Teens]

Two more days until his 17th birthday and the end of his exile at Privet Drive, so why is Harry so miserable? Can Ginny help him realize what an idiot he's been? A Harry/Ginny post-HBP fanfic with a little Ron/Hermione thrown in.

You know, I probably wasn't supposed to laugh at "...then Dumbledore died and you dumped me." but I did. It was so succintly put and I could just see Ginny saying that as if it were a fact of life and Harry was an idiot. A wonderfully written story. The emotions rang true and sweet. Thank you for sharing!

This fic is Harry's POV of the Birthday Challenge fic, For A Wish, submitted by YelloWitchGrl, with a little bit of Ron's POV. Read that first!

That was amazingly sweet! I'm left with a smile - I love it when that happens! Harry was a wonderful mix of (misguided, of course) nobleness and love. Wonderful stuff! And go Ginny, go!

Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Make A Wish
A HBP Missing Moment. Harry's thoughts on the night Dumbledore dies while he's lying in his bed and realizes that he can no longer hear Fawkes singing. Harry is truly alone...or is he?

We're just on a break! Yeah, right - got it! :) You've got the touch for writing scenes with such wonderful depth. I loved the way they comforted each other with the telling of tales - the little things that made Dumbledore truly a great wizard. And the weaving in of what Harry would feel was necessary to do at the end of HBP was materfully done, as always. I love these missing moments pieces - they are like windows into the story. Thank you for sharing them!

Author's Response: Ha! I'm glad you noticed that, I miss that show. I had fun doing this oneshot. I really wanted to find a scene that I hadn't seen done yet, and I thought this worked. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
