Wow! And you're back! (I had been reading this story at SIYE....) :-) Interesting little nod to HBP up there, BTW. :-} If you'd like a proofreader, I'm willing to help. I don't have asa much time as I did as of about a month ago, but I'm still willing (and, I think,. able). Excellent story!

Well...! I'd say that was moderately eventful. Wonder if Sirius is going to actually have a chance to talk with Vela, given Snake-Face Tom's intentions...? The interactions among the characters was exceptionally well done, by the way.

Hey...!  Very nice -- and it's good to see another chapter in this story!

Looks as if Ron & Draco  have at least gained a certain appreciation for one another; that's got to be good.  And Harry's doing a lot better with Jamie's relationship with Draco:  also good.

Sirius was a bit pathetic dealing with Vela's questions, but then, he probably didn't think about needing to play that role, certainly not so soon.  :-}

 Hmmm... I'd hazard a guess that the two rescued kids might prove interesting at some point.

I hope the wait for the next chapter will be a little less than the wait for this one was.  :-)

The story was well done. The drinking part is something I can't really identify with, so I'll need to trust your treatment of it. The mass-obliviation seems like a pretty cute trick, though. :-}

Author's Response: Ahh ... yes, you can trust me on the drinking part. I did a lot of ... errr ... research ... Honestly, there are people, who talk a lot more than normal when drunk and I thought Ginny might be one of them, and to make certain that she'd talk for quite some time I added the Pepperup Potion. which I haven't tried yet ;)
