This is a strange tale about how Neville Longbottom became the-boy-who-lived.
That's a really unique take on things. It made for a very interesting read, though I hate that Sirius and James were never friends *pouts*. I know it was necessary for your plot, but it still made me sad. ;) It really made me think about the way things turned out and what could have happened to prevent them.
Now though, I wonder, could anything really have been done? No, I don't think so. It's the way things were supposed to happen.

I really enjoyed reading this. It's a very, very interesting take on things. Very original. I was so surprised by the end of this chapter! Hermione, Hermione, Hermione...*shakes head* Well, nice job just the same. :D

Thanks! I'm very glad you enjoyed the story. When you have to fit everything into exactly 500 words, there are a bunch of things you have to leave out, so it can be hard to do sometimes.
I actually have not read much Lily/James fiction, but I'm glad that The Taste of Quidditch was able to give you a breath of fresh air. :)

Hermione and Ron broke up a month beforehand, but could they still harbor feelings for each other, even when Hermione must marry Bill and Ron must marry Luna? Can they fall in love with their intended spouses? In response to the famous Ashwinder challenge, though tweaked a bit.

I love this chapter even more the second time around. :) I think my favorite part is still the-moron-who-lived, and I think I "Ooh!"ed several times again when I saw that this was here. :) Really great idea, and I shall favorite here as well as on HPFF.
