You know, the last sentence is really the perfect ending for the story. I like that they just settle into each other's arms and that she gives him the space to sort it all out in his head, but that last promise to the reader that things all end up ok in the long run is the perfect ending. I totally believe that he would be unable to identify "love" as an emotion in his heart. I also liked the little bit with Mrs. Weasley (or Mum). Nice addition. Great job!

Very powerful story. Lupin is such an interesting and tragic figure and you've really captured his trragedy well. I cannot imagine losing all of my childhood friends in such violent or nasty ways and having to go on. The poem is quite well done as well.
