Ok, so when I read the first chapter, I didn't like this story. Harry was just soooo harsh with poor Ginny that it pissed me off. Well, I'm glad I got over it and continued reading, cause this is a great story! I really enjoy your characterizations and can't wait to see the rest!!!

I wrote the Harry from the first chapter based on Angry!Harry from OotP. I know now because of HBP that I was a bit off the mark, but Angry!Harry is integral to the story as he is. This is a very scary story, as I have two daughters who undoubetdly will go through this crap when they are older. Excellent and fun. I love the way you depict Harry here: so intense and honest.

Ironically, the only parts of this story that I really didn't enjoy or think flowed well with the rest were the ones you explained that you had drawn from the inspiration of other people's stuff. I love the beginnning and the end. I love the idea of Remus remembering things about his relationship with Sirius, but the journal in the middle with the prank obsession and the discussion of James seems a bit out of place. If you lifted this entirely and filled the space with a few more memories of Sirius and Remus, maybe one or two of all the Marauders, but mainly on Remus and Sirius (since those are the memories he is drawing on), it would be that much better. You write very well!

Really great story!!! Very exciting. Normally even the hint of rape/molestation/abuse will set me off a story for good (I really don't need the horrors of the real world in my recreation) but you really handled this tastefully and delicately. You conveyed the menace of Riddle w/o resorting to blatant shock. Very deftly handled! I'm really enjoying this and look forward to more!!!!

Ok, I really enjoyed this story, but the end left me really confused. It was the Honey that made her sick? Were Cho and Corner trying to kill her?? Why did they blame Harry if they knew it was the honey? What does glumbumble honey do??

Author's Response: I'm so sorry that I confused you. Glumbumbles can be found in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. They produce melancholy-inducing treacle. They have been known to infest beehives, with disastrous effects on the honey. Michael and Cho were not trying to kill her. They were just trying to dampen the couple's spirits a bit. The Weasley boys blamed Harry because that's all Ginny would say. The effects of the Glumbumble honey were magnified by her emotional state when eating it. She became severely depressed with no desire to do anything. She wouldn't even take the antidote in her severe state. Harry was the root of her depression before the honey. I'm sorry for the confusion. I should have added an author's note stating where to find information on the Glumbumble.

Very sweet! I love the challenge stories from SIYE and I can see why this one won an award! Very cute and nice,though I would have like to know their reactions to each other's swimsuits!

I really like experimental stories like this. I wrote one myself once that, like this, was nothing but dialog. Never even said who was saying what, but relied on my own ability to portray the characters to make it clear who the speakers were. I think you've mostly succeeded here, though I'm still a bit unsure about the meaning of some of your punctuation marks. :) Is it done?

I've got to say I was not pleased with that 8th chapter. The angst really came out of nowhere!! I suppose that some would say (NOT ME) that 8 or 9 chapters of pure fluff is overkill, though. Still, the Epilogue helped wash away the trauma and wrap everything up nicely. Overall, I enjoyed this very much.

Very cute story! i really enjoyed this. You write very well. I think you captured Ginny's character quite accurately and the entire scenario was quite plausible,though the "I love you" was a bit sudden! I like Ron faking being asleep and then running off to tell Hermione he'd won the bet. :)
