I've got a few stories up here, although I tend to upload stories up onto FF.net first because of how fast the submission process is there.

As of February 2, 2007: I'm now on the mod team here at WizardTales.net, which is pretty nifty, but that doesn't mean I won't have any less time to write. :)

The last day of Sirius's life, and he's trapped at Grimmauld Place with a bottle of Firewhisky and unlimited leisure time. Childhood memories, visits from Order members, and thoughts on Harry, Prongs, Snivelly, Nym, Moony, Reggie, Mother, Kreacher, Buckbeak, Dumbledore, Bella, Andromeda, and more. And, in the end, the inevitable battle and the mysterious veil. (More sad and brooding than funny, despite the title.)

Wow, another great story...and there's more to come, too?  I love how you've gotten inside the heads of both the Black brothers in both of your stories.  I'll definitely be keeping a look out for more of your work!

Author's Response: Thanks! Sirius came first and yes, there will be more of him. This fic follows him through the rest of his day/life, until he goes through the Veil, and I think it'll be about ten chapters by the time I'm done. Glad you're enjoying so far! :D

I think from now on I'm going to start using the term 'pie-eyed' more because of this chapter.

Author's Response: Hehe, excellent. There are so many wonderful synonyms for "drunk" on my thesaurus widget. :D

I don't suppose a review would persuade you to change the ending and make things end happily ever after, would it? ;)

Author's Response: Believe me, I've been sorely tempted to tweak the blocking, just a little, and send Bella through the veil instead. But no, killing him will be hard but if Jo can do it, I can do it. *sigh*

Chapter 9: Chapter Nine

It all started with an insult and a stolen kiss, then it became so much more.

Haha, this line made me laugh:

“Great,” Ron said glumly. “A depressed Harry. Just what we need.”

Chapter 37: Aftereffects
starstarstarstarhalf-star [Reviews - 2]

In a world different from the one we know, one where the pure reign and slavery is a fact of life, is the will and strength of a handful of young witches and wizards enough to overcome an ancient and corrupt order? AU marauder era.

Hey, I really like this story!  This is quite a different concept, even for AUish stories, so I'll be watching with interest.

Throughout this chapter I loved the dialogue, but especially the very first exchange between Lily and Sirius.  That was pretty amazing.

Keep writing!

Chapter 1: Lily

One simple decision and wizarding world is changed forever

This is a strange tale about how Neville Longbottom became the-boy-who-lived.

Still not sure if I like Draco...but then again, I've got six books of prejudice against his character locked up in my head ;)

Even if I don't like him, you've got me feeling kind of bad for him.  You're completely right - his life is over, since both the Order and the Death Eaters want him dead.  I wonder how things will turn out?  Keep writing! :)

Author's Response: But, but Draco is the best!  He is in for a rough go of things...

Chapter 2: Valleys of Green and Grey 02

Rainpuddle,

I think this has been a pretty good story so far. I really like the way you're telling the story, but I find myself wondering if Ginny would really fall for Draco so easily. It seems to me that aside from the physical attraction, the main reason she likes him is because she feels sorry for him. While I think that would be a valid reason to have some feelings for someone, I don't think that's really the right sort of foundation for a romantic relationship.

Anyway, regardless of the relationship between Ginny and Draco, I've found myself drawn into your story by the way you've set up the situation for all of the characters. It's very believable for me that Draco would find himself in this situation - at the mercy of the Order - with the path he's on.

Keep writing! :)

Chapter 3: Valleys of Green and Grey 03
starstarstarstarhalf-star [Reviews - 3]

It’s been fifteen years since Draco went into hiding after being declared a traitor to both sides. After receiving the news about his father’s death, Draco is finally ready to return to England. When he gets there, he discovers the life he was returning to is not at all what he expected. Will Draco adapt to fit into the life that has over taken Malfoy Manor, or will he return back to the life that he became accustom to while in hiding?

I liked how you didn't write this prologue in traditional narrative format - I think writing the letters makes for a concise way to dictate the story while at the same time making for a neat storytelling style. :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much. The story needed some background history in order for the reader to fully understand what's happening, but i needed a way to do that without giving out too much information that would ruin the story.
