A dude in college that likes to write.

I've got 2 stories going, in two completely different styles. One is something of a medium scale epic (or its going to be) and the other involves a single main character (currently) trying to discover his past.

Check them both out and review!

Good chapter, but you're treading on delicate ground when you have an apparantly devout Christian jumping into bed with someone, twice!

For some strange, strange reason, I cant find it in my heart to really like Nora. She is too far in it with Dumby.

Author's Response: You're absolutely right about Nora, at least about the first thing ;).  Sadly, there's nothing I can do to fix that glaring mistake in my plot/character logic, so she'll have to stay the way she is forever.

Hey, so you think Sybill actually Sees things all the time, and just enjoys scaring Harry? Heh, thats a funny thought. Ironic, isn't it?

Nice! I liked it.

Chapter 1: To Be Free

The Recommended Story for April 2003, a repeat Top 5 Selection, &  the #1 most read story on 2004-06. Novel length. Harry/OC (meet the Elemental!) R/H. Lots of heartbreak, joy and the infinite sadness. Starts midway through 6th yr and ends when the characters are 20. Think you know Draco? Think again.

What a strange story! I mean that in the best way, of course. The way that the beginning was written, about Sara crying the rain into existance, was very stylized and created a great atmosphere. I click on it to find it completed, even though I've never even heard of it before. Great stuff, love Sara, and i will definately read this in the future. Even the author's name adds to the story.

Author's Response: Thanks! And yes, the story was completed in 2003. There are 36 chapters. I'm just about to wrap up ch 14 of the sequel. To be honest, the first several chapters absolutely suck. I'm revising them and am currently working on ch 6, but I still hate them. The story, and the writing, definately improve, so keep reading! Thanks for my first review!

Well I've read much more, and have even drifted over to your site to read the rest. I'm addicted! One of the things that truly disturbed me was Sara's drinking problem. Very depressing. I dont want to say too much in case I spoil it for someone else, but great job!

Chapter 1: Harry Falls in Love
Unsung Hero by MeghanReviews [Tantric Magic]

There are two things to know about Harry Potter. One: He kicks butt. Two: No one cares. Why? Because Daniel Potter is the Boy Who Lived. Book 6 compliant. Takes place in year 7. Partial parody of Twin fics. Pairing: Harry/Hermione Romantic overtones with Luna. Warnings: Violence and Sex in later chapters.

Amazing! I absolutely love this story. The dialogue and narrative flows well and the characters have life of their own. Their actions never really deviate from the personality that you've given them and it adds a lot to the story.

I like the fact that even though i dont know how it is going to play out, Harry cannot easily accept what Hermione was forced to do with Daniel. Unfaithfullness (in any way that it happens to pan out) is a hard thing to swallow and forgive.

I shall recommend this fic in the forums. Love it! Keep it up.

Yay, an update! A very melancholy victory, it seems, and he gets further rewarded by being pulled to Voldemort as an added bonus. Update again soon!

Like it! A refreshingly refined read compared to much of the other rough out there. Keep it up!

Chapter 36: Chapter 36
Through no fault of his own, Harry becomes a vampire. Which struggle will prove the hardest? The fight to find the Horcruxes against Voldemort and his minions, or the fight to hold onto his own failing humanity? This story picks up after the events of the Half-Blood Prince and makes an immediate detour into the Twilight Zone.

An interesting start... I liked it. I have never seen a "nice" vampire in a HP fiction such as the old man seems to be, and it gives a fresh angle to your story.

One thing I noticed was near the very end, when you switched the point of view to his Aunt Petunia for only a few lines and then switched back. It was sort of awkward and I had to think about it for a minute before I realized what you were doing. Read the story over (and better yet, have someone else read it too) and look for any parts that may have been skimmed by too fast or dont have enough detail in them, such as Aunt Petunia's POV.

 Great start, keep it up!

Scary. The story is compelling and your details about vampirism keep me interested. I especially liked how you described sunlight as a sweeping inferno.

A few lines of dialogue from the please-men seemed a bit forced, but other than that I really enjoyed it!

Keep it up and happy fourth.

Creepy. I am interested to see Hermione's reaction to her being a vampire...
