I don't like to be picky, but you really need to have this chapter beta-ed. I found it very annoying having to slog my way through punctuation mistakes; it took away my enjoyment of your chapter. Criticisms asside, you're continuing the mystery nicely with the suspicious death. I'm glad Harry got to go to the Burrow for at least a little while on his birthday.

This is too funny! I love the "Mount Ginny" eruption reference and the fact that she's out for revenge. I also had a nice chuckle that Hermione wants to enjoy "the show". Poor Harry, he had absolutely no idea what is in the Pandora's box he unleashed when he broke up with Ginny...All I can say is "Oh, MY!" And I love it that Hermione is now considering her own WooDoo doll...too funny!

Author's Response: Thank you! I just couldn't believe that Ginny would walk away so easily. Especially not after the arguement she put up about the Dept of Mysteries. I think that JKR needs to seperate the two so that Harry can rescue Ginny in book 7, just like i nthe Chamber of Secrets. Thank you for such a nice review!

The more I read this story the more I get out of it. I love the look into Lily's and James' home lives and the fact that Sirius is still relying on James and/or his mother to wake him up. You've done a really nice job setting up the rest of the story, too. Can't wait to read Chapter 2.

I really like how things are shaping up. The part where Ron tells Harry that he and Hermione kissed at Kings Cross is absolutely adorable, very Ron! I'm glad that Harry reacted the way he did. The other part I really liked was Bill and Fleur asking and Harry accepting the part of groomsman in the ceremony...a little sneaky, but hey, it made me smile! I'm looking forward to reading the next chapters...Here I go...

This one gets an 'A' mostly because I wasn't expecting Ginny to be thoroughly mean to Harry right after he has kissed the living daylights out of her. You've left me feeling a little unsettled because Ginny doen't seem to be very much in character. The idea to use Dobbie, Winkie and the OWL scores was cute though.

I can hardly wait for the next chapter! This is soooo good; I'm not sure whether I like the fact that Dudley is finally in trouble or that Harry is planting magical flowers in Aunt Petunia's garden more. I'm really glad that Harry has come to consider the garden as his own and that he's involved Neville in the development of it as well. I feel sorry for the Pixies, though, especially if Dudley has to be part of Harry's summer "chores" now that Uncle Vernon had put his foot down. Your idea is priceless and I hope you update soon.

This story is so good I've recommended it to my sister-in-law who is currently trying to reduce! She loves HP stories as much as I do and the thought of Harry being forced to help Dudley lose those extra pounds has really personalized your story for both of us. What I liked about this chapter is the sense of growing cooperation between Dudley and Harry; that Dudley just might care a little about what Harry really thinks (I really liked the scene in the back garden where Harry was digging the pond and I could sense Dudley's amazement that Harry could stay so thin without much effort and was willing to care about something other than himself). Still, I find myself caring more about what happens to Harry than I do Dudley! Finally, I really liked Dudley's prank on his father...the older Dursley seems to be getting some of his own just desserts... Great chapter! Keep the story coming, please. I look forward to your next installment.

Author's Response: Thanks Arnel! Dieting is something in which I have excessive experience. Best of luck to your sister-in-law. Dudley is have a lot of awakenings regarding his cousin. I hope I can make him have a lot more. Harry, too, is learning by having to guide/control Dudley. This is very much Harry's story, so I'm glad you are most interested in what happens to him. A lot does happen in the next few chapters. I'll update this weekend. Thanks for the great review and encouragement!

Another terrific chapter ending in a big "Oops!" but more like "Uh-ohhhhhh!" I really hope that Dudley will share the punishment for this mess the boys have gotten themselves into and not just dump the whole thing in Harry's lap. By the way, I do like your "new and improved" dialog style. What I like about it is that the direct conversation personalizes the story and causes the reader to almost eavesdrop on the conversation instead of being a detatched observer. Your kids had a great idea! I look forward to Chapter 5 and hope it gets posted soon.
