I'm not sure what I'll do with The Modern Marauders. I know there's enough potential in that story, and I know I could easily write lots of chapters for that story, but I'm not sure whether I want to devote my time in that.

As for the plans for Still, they're pretty much finished, I only have to start writing. Every chapter should cover a lot of words, and I can promise you now that it will contain quite a few (at least to me) interesting things. Not sure whether I'm going for an R-rated fic, but assuming some of the stuff that will happen, it'll need the rating. And it would allow me to write about R-rated activities as well :-)

Still will probably be divided into two stories, though a third story is probable. Thus, the title will probably change as well. We'll see.

I've got a few other ideas, one of them is writing a Harry/Hermione fic, another is a "Harry under a Veela Curse", meaning that he'll end up with a lot of women, but will lose all of his male friends. Should be light stuff, and I'm not sure I can keep it under NC-17.

And if someone comes across a nice Harry/Luna fic, please forward it to me, the ship's become a bit of a favourite. And a decent Harry/Tonks fic should be nice as well.

In some way I don't like reading Reign O'er Me, it's too addictive. I constantly read from Saturday 'till yesterday evening (Monday), even in the nights, just because I couldn't let it go. That's even worse than Rowling did, you know that?

There are some loopholes in the story here and there, and might I say that replacing commas with underscores ( - ) is annoying? If I didn't need to read it, I would've stopped just because of those underscores.

Other then that, I love the idea of a Guardian. Do you realise how closely the idea actually is to the Sith Lords? The idea of soul bonding is another one of those marvelous things, and the background of Dumbledore: thumbs up! The comments of Dumbledore about his alternative universe dreams was one of the best in the book, really, and a nice way to say your work's the best.

The only thing I'm a bit worried about is that Perenelle is a bit of a Mary Sue. Not in the original meaning of the word, but she's perfect, you know? Does she have flaws at all? I don't know.

I'll conclude by saying that I'm hoping the time is near that Harry becomes Guardian, and Draco is nicely transfigured to a good bloke.

Chapter 1: Prologue: Circles
In the summer before his sixth year at Hogwarts, Harry Potter learns to come to terms with the death of Sirius. As he heals and grows emotionally, he learns how to enjoy life again. But there’s a war on, and Voldemort’s primary objective is to kill Harry Potter, by any means necessary. As a result, Harry and his friends have a very adventurous sixth year at Hogwarts. Canon-based with some OC.

Oh no, you've got a sequel? There goes another week worth of sleep...

I've been reading The Refiner's Fire in the evenings most, and stayed up until the wee hours of the morning reading. I just couldn't wait to read more and more and more. I don't remember having that with the books by Rowling herself.

Now, enough praise I guess. I just hated it when Stacey was murdered. I really felt like strangling Skeeter myself, and I think I was heartbroken as well. She seemed such a nice lass, especially for Harry. That's just my main critique I guess, sometimes, just sometimes, it seems as if Harry's forgotten about Stacey too much. It isn't really disturbing, but I just find it to be a pity. Oh well, I guess that's what not living in dreams is all about?

The whole idea of the Refiner's Fire is marvelous really. Did you thought of that or did you find it in some obscure encyclopedia?

Anyway, I read the last chapters yesterday and it did leave me with a desire to read sequel -- pirate!Harry and a parrot-phoenix hehe. Anyway, I'll have to create a new yahoo account to be able to get to your sequel. (Worthless age restrictions of foreign countries.)

Anyway, nice work! I hope your fantasy writing will be a success (and I hope to read it someday; I'm going to start working on a series of stories of my own fantasy world in a couple of weeks, so I hope there's enough creativity left for me when you're done).

Author's Response:

Her name's "Casey" not "Stacy" and she is gone but not forgotten.  She has a role to play in the sequel, and fan response to her was so strong, I've made her a "regular cast member" in my original novel series.

The idea for "The Refiner's Fire" came from my being a professional sculptor and knowing about metals being purified through the refining process.  There's also a Bible verse about the refiner's fire.  The whole novel began with my wanting to see Harry be allowed to grieve over Sirius, and to have some closure over his death (the memorial service Casey helped Harry with).  Everything evolved from there.

Glad you enjoyed it.  Good luck with your own writing!

I like the idea of such an order, but I must confess that you really need to revise your language. Capitals are missing from time to time and sometimes you really have awkward phrasings. I would want to beta it for you, if you wouldn't mind. Otherwise, I was about to ask if I couldn't use the idea of such an order :P

Oh yeah, watch it with Vikram. He's beginning to sound as the perfect wizard. Make sure he has his flaws, even Dumbledore had them. A quick reminder of course that Dumbledore and Voldemort were supposed to be the most powerful wizards of the world...

I printed this story out yesterday evening, and I read for the rest of the evening through this fic. I must admit I looked forward to reading your disclaimers, always interesting ;-)

While I noticed a lot of capitalisation errors, and the occasional grammar error, I didn't mind much. I simply enjoyed reading too much to actually care about them.

The only thing I can hope for you is that Rowling decides to use a ghostwriter for her long written epilogue, and that that ghostwriter would be you.

Well, I think this is one of the better stories trying to dig in the past of Severus Snape and his character. Nice work! I enjoyed reading this, even though the general theme was a bit erm less than pleasant.

Author's Response: Thank you!  Yeah, I know people are less than comfortable with the subject of child abuse.  Unfortunately, you can't have a Harry-is-rescued-from-the-Dursleys story without it.  It's canon fact that Harry is an abused child, and it's not something that I can ignore.

Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Orsa

Hehe, I look this. It's got a very original approach on things and it certainly is nice to read what could've happened and what has happened. I'm eager to read more!

Interesting chapter, can't wait how Harry the Loner will help Slytherin Harry!

And I meant "like", not "look" in my previous review.

Well, your excused for not updating that quick. Hope there won't be any other stuff like that anymore (though if it's necessary)! Wonderful chapter once again, though I think the ending was rather abrupt. Well, the last phrase was. Do continue writing though, I'm hooked :-)

Well, this was interesting to say the least. I read your two first chapters a week ago, and I can't say I enjoyed it. You've got an original idea up your sleeve, and I can't wait how this fic'll end.

Are you going to rewrite the whole fifth book or not? (Perhaps it's the best you don't tell me. I'm just curious.)

Great job!
