Not bad at all. I'll admit it took me a bit to identify our narrator, but after that it all made sense. I think that was just me being slow.
The tone was nice and somber. Sort of a matter-of-fact melancholy that seems to fit Draco well. Normally I might say self-sacrifice would be out of character, but the tone seems to counteract and justify it with a rather surprising amout of success.
Well done. I look forward to being coerced into reading more.

That was unexpected, yet dismally pleasant. Seems a bit harsh, but she didn't really seem to have a bottle of Firewhiskey around so the wand is her only suitable alternative.
