Rather nice in it's not-quite-so-pleasantness. It seems wrong to say much about it. It would clash with the theme in a way too ironic for me to do without trying to be humorous.
In my own twisted way, I find this encouraging. Sure its a bit, well, dark (not trying to overuse the word), but there is still a dreary stength to it. Maybe it's just my perverse world view, maybe its an oddly comfortable familiarity to my own thoughts, but I enjoyed it.

Not bad at all. I'll admit it took me a bit to identify our narrator, but after that it all made sense. I think that was just me being slow.
The tone was nice and somber. Sort of a matter-of-fact melancholy that seems to fit Draco well. Normally I might say self-sacrifice would be out of character, but the tone seems to counteract and justify it with a rather surprising amout of success.
Well done. I look forward to being coerced into reading more.
Author's Response: Ahh...I didn\'t think people would have trouble identifying the narrator, so I never put the name in (save for the author's note.) And yes, that was my main concern, that Malfoy giving up his life was OOC. I\'m glad you liked it, though! :D

Dark.
That was unexpected, yet dismally pleasant. Seems a bit harsh, but she didn't really seem to have a bottle of Firewhiskey around so the wand is her only suitable alternative.
