7th Yr Sequel to Ancient Magic. It is now known the power of immortality resides inside Harry and Ginny. Will their combined powers be enough to protect them from the Dark Lord?
Just wanted to say, "THank YOU!!!!! What a great story you wove! My son & I both read it (He's teen) and were enraptured by it. We only just discovered this site a week ago. So, we both have been enjoying the stories here & yours was one of the first ones I've read.
I liked your premise - unique and still, I think, true to the heart of what JKR is trying to convey.
Thank you again for sharing your delightful imagination with those of us that don't have one ourselves!!
One mother's sacrifice vanquished him for thirteen long years... the second will destroy him for good.
Not much physical action & yet, I feel wiped out!! I'm really enjoying this story. It's quite an interestingly different plot. I truly can't guess what's happening next.
I'm a little frustrated about Hermione - but yet she's in character for your story. I'm curious how long it will take her to come around. She's going to have to go through alot of inner contemplation - she's made her share of mistakes & hasn't come to acknowledge them - but I think that's because she's not done making them.
I feel for Harry - unable to ask for help or to explain what he's seen. He's going to need some more Gryffindor courage & explain the horrors he's seen in the veil. He hasn't learned that when he shares those burdens - he becomes stronger.
Valencia is interesting. Obviously - she knows Harry is alive. I'll be curious when that gets "officially" acknowledged.
I was quite excited to see that you've updated. It really is a fascinating story - oh - I don't trust Justinian at all. Coincidences for Harry are never good.
Looking forward to your next update - it's a great story - thanks for sharing it!
Yes, Hermione has made some mistakes. She already realizes this, she just doesn't really know what to do about it. She'll eventually have to address some of the ramifications of her current employments, which seems to be the source of most of her mistakes.
As for Harry, its not fear or embarassment that keeps him quiet. It's something more like shame and the hope that what he's seen is simply not true.
Now, Valencia and and Justinian are very interesting. I'm glad that so many people are accepting them, even if they don't trust them at all.
Thanks for reading, and more updates are on the way.
Bonus!!!! Another chapter is up. Wow - thanks for the fast turnaround - what a treat.
Now - to try to digest all that you've given us. Quickest summary - Harry's in TROUBLE!
The dark hooded wizard at the end - has to do with the "new Dark Lord" - just haven't figured out who it is yet. Poor Harry - just can't get a break.
I do wonder about Valencia - she's intriguing. You've done a nice job with OC. I like Josef & how you've portrayed his relationship with Harry. I did chuckle with Josef's comments about "if you want to trail Harry - you follow Ginny". So true. I'm hoping, in the end - that Harry will be able to trust Josef.
Thanks again for the fast update - what a nice surprise it is. You're a great writer & I'm just enraptured in your story.
'Enraptured' Nice.
As for poor Harry, if he got a break, there wouldn't be much of a story, would there? Well, maybe he could get a little break.
And thanks for the compliments about the OCs. I do enjoy writing them. Valencia is more intriguing than you even realize.
Great Chapter! Harry is finally beginning to show himself. I'm really liking Josef - I like his personality - he's got chitzmuh!
You've got very good sarcastic humor & I love it! ie:
"You're bloody Harry Potter," said Josef. "How could anyone not love you?"
"You'd be surprised," growled Harry
It just really struck me funny tonight.
I had forgotten that you were going to be doing another sequel, too. That should at least keep me busy for a year or so (You, too!!). Stories like these aren't quick & easy to write. The plot lines & character development that you've done is real quality work & I know that can't be done in a day. It does make it a pleasure to read such a well-written story.
Looking foward to the next update. We're going to be spoiled with this bunch of updates in a row - not complaining, mind you - just it'll be harder to go back to the longer periods (Necessary, I know). Thanks again for such a great read!
