I am a marketing consultant and happily married for over twenty-three years.

I majored in history at university. It reflects in all of my writings, except for the one-shot challenge tales I write.

Indeed, my story "Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C." starts with as much Muggle history as is available for England at the time (very little), and what can be extrapolated from that era from elsewhere.

Then, I added in all of the magical historical research I've done, and the research done by the magical anthropological field teams now discovering the roots of magic all around Europe. The history of how magic as we know it was discovered and developed, began to take shape, but only as a list of facts, not as a narrative.

Finally, the interviews with Harry Potter in 2023, after the death of Mr. Ollivander and with his expressed permission, allowed this tale be told in a readable manner.

My pseudonym existed before I discovered fanfiction, and I never imagined that I'd be alphabetized by first name.

This is the story of a war. A war between good and evil, light and dark. This is the war Harry will fight, fight until the last breath leaves his body. This is where he will learn the meanings of life and death, love and friendship, sorrow and betrayal, honour and hardship. This is the war where he will fulfil his destiny.
H/G with some R/H sixth year fic.

This was another great chapter. I want to punch Ron and DD, so you've done what many authors can't do, get your audience emotionally involved. I particularly like this passage: "This was the second time he had hugged Ginny in a single day, Harry thought, and he would gladly stay in her arms forever. It was certainly a comfortable place to be." Harry needs some above and beyond happiness. Of course we all want it to come from Ginny.

Author's Response: Of course, lol. Thanks for the review! Cathy

Ch.1 - - Very well written, but I want to hurl. I've become a bigger H/G shipper and Ginny fan that I thought - this upsets me. Do make it better soon. This response shows that you've succeeded at trapping the reader into your tortured-Ginny-emotions. Well done.

Author's Response: Well... thanks I think. I'm glad you think it's well written, and I hope you read the rest of the chapters posted. I am a huge H/G shipper myself and I have reasons for everything I do.

Ch.2 - - This is really well written. Good conversations and characterizations. In the spirit of canon post-OotP. It kills me though, but nice that Hermione provies some relief for Ginny's agony. FIX this!

Author's Response: Aaran, I appreciate your reviews and the fact that you are reading my story. Things have to progress in a certain way. Believe me it all pays out in the end. Right now Harry and Ginny are in a bit of a quandry, but there is reason behind this. I'm not one to have Harry and Ginny see each other and then say "I love you!" "I should have noticed you before! Kiss me!" The characters are being developed as the story continues.

Ch.3 - - Now I am really fdeeling better. This is site is not a lock on H/G ships - for a second there I thought this tale could go D/G. Harry is a great bloddy prat, but you've made him redeemable and understandable if you remember teenage aged boys are hopelessly stuck in stupid mode. (Been there, do way too much of that.) Now we need some fluff to act like chocoalte after a dementor.

Author's Response: LOL. Aaran, believe me I would never write a D/G story. Draco is a creepy little ferret. Yuck. The next couple of chapters should be right up your alley

Ch.4 - - Once again, I say, "Very well written," Wonderfully paced dialog and events in a few momonts in time - representing everything. Detention is a fine place to make things right, I hope.

Author's Response: Thanks Aaran. I appreciate it. Detention is a great place for stuff to happen. Hee hee

Ch.5 - - Close. So VERY close, but oh, so far away. We need the gap bridged! Well done, indeed.

Author's Response: Ah! Fluff will abound my friend believe me. There will be snogging and it will be grand. Thanks!

Ch.1 - - A very interesting start to your tale. Harry is bright, but he depended on Snape for how-to in Occlumency. Logical but flawed. That he could take the basic premises and work out a lot of it himself is not a bad idea. Well done. It was very realistic the way you had Harry realise he liked, then loved Ginny. Teenaged realism. Basic forboding re: the Luna letter left out with two words showing. Great start.

Ch.2 - - Sad Harry is a very sad thing indeed - made even more sad by the fact that, unlike the death of Sirius, this is fixable. Angsty and good writing.

Ch.3 - - Amazing how getting to school and getting into a program brings Harry 'together.' I like the Blaise you've created. Just Slytherin enough to make it into the house, but logical enough to be independently minded from the rest. Well written.

Ch.4 - - Heartbreaking that Harry is embroiled in unrequited love. Excellent that Harry can be a great student if he tries. Fabulous swordplay training scenario you've created. Tonks - a bonus!
