A 43 year old, single, Human Resources professional, I fell in love with all things Harry Potter just about four years ago.

When looking for an audio book to listen to on a long car trip by myself, I picked up the Sorcerer's Stone - mainly because of it's length (over 8 hours), and I loved it! It wasn't long before I'd read all the books.

I discovered fanfiction toward the end of summer 2003. The first piece I read was a lovely H/G fic on Fanfiction.net, Amorous by DragonFire2 which was written by a friend of my then, 17 year old. After reading countless stories, I finally decided to try my hand at writing, and my first attempt was a short, one-shot by the name of Diametric Alley Opposed which is posted on Phoenix Song. It's admittedly not very good, but without it I would have never begun writing A Matter of Circumstance and then A Matter of Perspective.
