I liked this, is was really cool! A spin-off exploring further into this world would be really great- the world and story has alot of potential. You actually leave alot of questions (is he the last person? where exactly did the others go? why did his parents stay behind? what happened to the world?) You were artfully vague- you make the reader just as..miffed as the character, which is a great way to draw in the reader, and make the character memorable to them. Something more to answer our questions I think would be well received. Good Job!

This was a nice story- sort of fast, but you got the message across. Its sweet, the idea of living happily ever after even after something as horrible as losing your family. It was well written- keep up the good work.

Talk about sad! It made me want to go hug my mom! This was written really well, and you managed to convey such emotion, that the reader managed to feel it. Great work!

Very neat! That was a bit creepy, wasn't it? Scary boogey man called by the sound of a haunting nursery rhyme... Very well done! Can you tell me more about his creepy boogeyman person? The choosing of the song was great...my little sister and I started singing it together when I began to read this and sing it under my breath. We stopped because she had to go to bed, but by the time i finished I wanted to look over my shoulder, or go check on her. I did. This was fantastic! Good job!

Very intersting. It was well written- it sounded like a real journal entry. Any gaps, for example, what made him change his mind about the nazis, are explained by the missing bits in the journal. Its actually really sad- he dies 5 years from the time this chapter ends. Well, the whole era was sad really- what made you choose to write about it? Its well written,you did very well. I wish I could sound a little more hyped, but its not a very uplifting story- that doesn't mean its not good though. As always, keep up the good work!

I am very interested in the second world war and also in the rise of Hitler. I find it so fascinating how such an evil man came to power, but I find that everyone just assumes that every single German of the time was evil. They wern't, they were brainwashed. A lot of them were evil, but many had no choice in the matter.
