Lady Mortis loves to spend her time writing, reading, studying ancient cultures (not that she knows any yet) and trying to make heads or tails of latin.

She is most fascinated by the inner workings of her imagination and so she writes some fantastical, if not bizaare stories.

Lady Mortis also loves to dabble in stories involving the occult, the paranormal, real life problems (divorce, abortion, suicide, depression), death, romance, and some humour/satire (I try a bit but I'm not very good in that department)

Anyways, Lady Mortis bids you welcome and wishes that you enjoy her imagination.

This is a story that almost every teenage girl can relate to. This is the story of a girl who strives to be popular, but hates the popular people.

At first, it was harmless. At first, it could be passed of as a playground fight. At first, she was hurting peoples feelings.

At first, it didn't matter. But one night, in the quiet streets of her home town in England,  Becky takes things too far...

Okay, I will tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed it despite the girl's demise and I wish it had been drawn out a little more but your style was effective and you got your point across... Good Job....

P.S. Do we get to learn more about Ezlener??

Author's Response:

Thank you! This was meant as a drabble, so I didn't want it to be very long. I'm hoping to do a full length something with Ezlener though.

Hmmm, it is an intriguing beginning. It did seem a very strange encounter and I am curious to see what happens next.

Author's Response: Thank you for the review! I'm glad it made you curious because this chapter bores me, then again, I do what happens next :)

Man, Candice is not having a good couple of days.

I just wanted to point out that you called her Kira a couple times in the story and I don't know if that was done on purpose or not. Anyways, I really enjoyed this chapter as well.

Good job so far

Author's Response:

I know, poor Candice..

And I am totally and completely embarassed by the Kira thing, it was my original name for the main character and it slipped in and out a lot during that chapter, I thought I had switched them all back but I missed two! thanks for pointing that out.

thanks for the review.

Oh boy. Talk about truly being divided. I don't think I could ever deal with that kind of situation. It was a good chapter, very suspenseful and I look forward to seeing more from you.

Author's Response: This is my favorite chapter so far, and maybe even of the whole story, it was fun to write but also really emotionally draining, I almost wanted to cry at the end. But thank you for the review!

I thought this was very well composed. It was very realistic and I thought your description of the absolute fear that simon felt was perfect!

Good Job

Luke and his sister find a confusing girl on their return home one night. It is obvious that she needs help, yet the help she needs may be something even greater or more difficult than Luke can give.

"We found her in the shadow of a dumpster, thown away like last week's trash, withering and beginning to smell. At first I thought she was just a pile of rags thrown together, an undersized scarecrow."
