I didn't find any typos...ask Mariana to look for you...she spots EVERYTHING, which is a talent I wish I had.  I read too fast!

I really enjoyed this story, and I enjoyed the obvious thought you put behind it.  My favorite was the last paragraph, last sentence:  "The powerful stillness of the world beneath my feet is all that I need to motivate me when I get out of bed to plant my feet firmly on the ground."
