Poor Stewart!!

Hi, Niki, it's nice to see you outside of MNFF! :D

I love this story - I felt really sorry for Stewart; he was trying his best! Maybe he's better off without her. :p

I liked how it wasn't just one massive thing that split them up, it was loads of little things - it made it more realistic.

I liked Stewarts character as well - his reactions seemed real. And I thought that Olivia was being very selfish.

To start off with a quick criticism, I thought the ending was very abrupt, and could have gone with a longer explanation.  I felt a little cut-off when reading it. 

That aside, the characters were portrayed very realistically, and actually, I hate Olivia.  I think she's a horrible, selfish woman who obviously didn't invest any of herself into this relationship.  I suppose the fact that I hate her means you've done your job as an author. 

Poor man. :(

Oh man... Talk about a bad day...

I felt so bad for Stewart. The poor man just wanted to make the woman he loved happy and she completely shot him down. Now I know she couldn't be blamed seeing as she was allergic to silver and hated lilies but she still made me mad... Anyway, good story. It made me realize that my bad days will never be that bad

Wow.  I'm conflicted by what I feel for Olivia.  Part of me feels bad for her, as she obviously had a horrible day.  Part of me can't relate to her, though, because I coudn't imagine being quite so hateful to someone who was proposing to me.  They had been together for six months, after all...even if she was going to refuse, I would have liked to have seen a little compassion in her, to even her out a bit.

I liked the description of Stewart.  He was a well-formed character, and his reations rang true to life.
