Ch.1 - - How they got their fifth year fixed by their seventh year will probably always remain a mystery - I doubt JKR will say.
But you've started on an interesting path to tell us yourself.
Realisitc conversations, concise plot set-ups (a weakness of mine is verbosity here), and a moving pace.
More, more, we want more.

Interesting start! I do hope you continue with this story. I'm always fascinated to see how authors imagine James' transformation. Great job and thank you for sharing!
