I think, D4D, that you have just revealed an itty bitty plot hole as far as the countercurse is concerned; I just never thought about it.  Though Harry will progress to soundless magic in this fic, he has not learned it yet...hm.  Thanks for noticing that, and I'll have to consider what to do about it as far as error correction.

There will be some mention of Horcruxes in this story, though they're really only mentions in order to allow me to work with them in my seventh-year sequel.  I actually wrote the first 31 chapters of The Greatest Power prior to the release of Half-Blood Prince, so I didn't know anything about Horcruxes until I was almost done with the story.
