It wasn't quite the talk i expected but it was still a good story.  I was thinking he was going to have to expalin the birds and the bees to Edward.

I thought that since Edward lives with 3 perfectly matched married couples, and he has two graduate degrees in medicine, he probably knows that Tab A fits into Slot B.  But he doesn't know how it feels, and how he will be able to balance pleasure and control, so that was the angle I went with.  Thanks for reviewing!

I really love this story. The relationship between Carlisle and Edward is so solid and wonderful. They really are like father and son and I think you did a beautiful job of portraying their "talk." I can't wait to see what else you come up with :)
