I really enjoyed Neville's admission about his predjudice against Slytherin.  It's an honest and raw portrayal of the struggle that many people (even as readers here in the real world) seem to have when it comes to that particular house.

I can't say it enough:  you've got a talent for character development.  Your original characters fit very smoothly into canon.  Almost as though they had always been there but we just hadn't seen them.
