Very beautiful and touching. I loved it.
This is an interesting start to the story...Ron and Hermione dead, an interesting mix of established canon and AU (I did read that it was current through HBP, but I see elements of DH here as well). I'm glad you brought Harry and Ginny back together again, because I don't know how he'd cope without her. As for Remus and the Faith that Harry has found, I'm going to look forward to seeing how that develops.
I thank you very much for your kind review. Unfortunately, as you seem not to have noticed, there isn't (at least in my mind) a "how this develops:" it was conceived as a one-shot with readers allowed their own thoughts on where Harry and Ginny and the wizarding world would go from here, as I was thinking about the idea that some have expressed that the Harry Potter world is antithetical to (specifically Christian) belief. The journey from here is in your own mind -- enjoy!
Beautiful story. You captured my attention from the beginning. Wonderful job.
Awesome story - and a great set of verses to apply to Harry Potter. As I said in your acceptance letter, as a believer, I think this is one of the most ambitious stories I've been submitted anywhere.
You did an awesome job handling sensitive topics and not shoving anything down the reader's throat. You did an awesome job showing us how Harry was grieving - and healing.
The moment where Ginny comes up to him was very powerful; the interspersed bits of Hogwarts' life with Harry's private moments were well done and almost cinematic.
Thank you for your kind review here, and the very nice words in the email approving this for posting. As I was thinking about this, I took the concept and let it play out in my mind, almost as a day dream -- a movie in my own mind, if you will, and only after going through it a few dozen times did I sit down to write it, which turned out to be the easy piece really, as that part took only about 15 minutes to the first draft, and little was really changed beyond polishing after that.
