I loved the last part where they are exploring each others memories, it was beautiful and touching.

Good job with the details and the ceremony.  I did think the eggs hatched a bit to quickly though but since Eragon didn't sit down with his like this then maybe that is why Saphira took longer to hatch.

Wow.  I wasn't prepared for the violence of the Riders' reactions to Galbatorix's ancestry.  It seems a little at odds with what I know of Brom and Oromis from canon, to be honest.  However, it does explain the dragon attack.  It was Glaedr, wasn't it?
