Author's Response: Merci! I try and keep everyone in character, though sometimes I feel that I fail in that respect.

Well written, but with a stunted, priggish, morality. Lily a pure saint? Hardly. Dumbledore the great manipulator a herald of heaven? Heaven forbid!
Author's Response: Well, first off, remember that this story is from Snape's point of view. He's practically worshipped Lily all his life, and for her to do wrong, in his eyes, would be to bring on armageddon. And Dumbledore . . . well, he was there to talk to Harry when Riddle Avada-kedavraed the boy in Deathly Hollows. Anyhow, if you keep reading, you'll see that Snape's blindness will be cured eventually, and he can take things as they are much better. Thanks for reading what you did, however!
I'm really enjoying this story so far. While it's a generally known thing that ghosts are only ghosts because they have some sort of unfinished business on earth, I like how you've put a twist on that and painted all of the ghosts with this eternal despair. It's incredibly interesting as I read this to think of how it might be to exist as a ghost, not resting in peace in heaven, but to go on living forever and ever, locked on earth without any possessions but your memories.
Keep writing, you're doing a great job!
Author's Response: More coming! Thanks very much for reading!
I love your explanation for the meaning of Kings Cross. It puts me in mind of 'The Great Divorce' by C.S. Lewis. But will the train return for Severus?
I love your use of words. Very precise, and in some ways, unique.
Author's Response: Thanks very much. I'm glad you like it. And, to see if the train returns, keep reading . . .
Author's Response: I'm glad you like it! More coming, I've already written up to chapter 14!
