I know this comes a bit late, but I definitely think you should continue. Every paragraph in the prologue has a line that I find memorable and thought-provoking:
"The deserted black road stretched on forever in both directions like a ribbon that kept the earth tied in place." Beautiful image.
"He hated how driven by selfishness and fear he was..." Yep, that's Draco, but the fact that he realizes it and reflects on it...wow!
For a small instant he envied Potter for his blind bravery, but that moment passed quickly. Potter was a reckless idiot." And humor too. Heh, heh.
