Very nice.  Catches the *spirit* of the season--sniping, carping, bragging, one-upsmanship--nicely.  Oh and you've made Hermione so deliciously nasty.  All within the possibilities of canon, of course.

I remember reading the original when you first posted this. And I have to say, I still love it, expecially since you edited to make it HBP friendly.
