yeah, they are a bit OOC, but that's okay! I personally believe that everyone writes OOC except for JK, so you aren't doing anything wrong!

Okay... I have a few nitpicks in this chapter! How does Tonks know about the horcruxes, likewise Remus? You might want to specify on those. Unfortunaltely, it's these small things that land us new authors in trouble. Don't believe me-- read the reviews I have in my fic and you might want to add some more things to it ;-)

For a first time attempt, you have done a very good job! I'd suggest you keep on writing and you'll improve with chapter. Also, avoid having too much action in such a small word frame.
The plot looks interesting. I can't wait to read on
