Author's Response: Thank you so much Raincloud. This is as long as it's going to be, i like to convey a range of emotions in a short space. I may do sequel poems, but I wait to be inspired rather than try to format a poem. If you're interested in my writing style, please feel free to check out my other poem on this site, Sonnet for the Moon, or visit my website, www.freewebs.com/zetera/. Thanks!
I lied this very short poem, as it suggests the inner demons Snape is always struggling with, regardless of whether the poem was written pre- or post-HBP. I'd like to see more Snape poetry from you!

Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it, and that you're looking into some of my other work too!
Author's Response:
Hi thanks so much for reading and reviewing - I'm glad you liked it! Well, I used to be fairly partial towards Snape; feeling he was this misunderstood figure. I suppose I romanticised him, which is fairly evident from the poem. However, since the events of HBP (which I'm sure you've read) I've really turned against him - and I don't feel so sorry for him anymore.
I did hold on to the vain hope that perhaps this was all some clever plan - but old interviews with Rowling suggest otherwise, as she warned fans not to like Snape too much.
Then again - maybe I was write at the beginning and he will redeem himself! We live in hope, eh?
Hope you're not bored with my overly-long response! I could type for hours about the Potter universe.

Author's Response: Hahaha - I went back to correct an atrocious spelling error - and now you've ended up with two respnses. Sorry!
Author's Response: Thank you, I always imagined the piece in Snape's spidery, cramped scrawl. I'm glad you found this!
