Interesting start. I wonder if Snape needs to be a bit more snarky, even in his thoughts. Poor Hermione, betrayed by the two she's closest to.
Author's Response: This is only the beginning of the tale, and this is a post war Hogwarts. So I'm going with the idea that Severus has somewhat mellowed without the pressures of double agent. Although, he'll always be snakry Snape ^.^
