This is one of the best "how Fred and George got the map" stories I've read. I love Fred and George anyway, and their banter (not to mention their teasing Percy) was spot on. I like the insults/hints the map gives. The ending was more serious than I expected, but I like, even if it does end the story on almost a melancholy note.

This is absolutely brilliant... I will forever be convinced that this is exactly what happened. Marvelous job.
I loved the interactions between the twins and the map personalities, and how perfectly you captured Percy's naivete. And then there's this line, which is perhaps the most apt observation of George that I have ever read in fanfiction: "George, never one to waste anything, be it materials or opportunities..."
