It's very AU but very interesting. There are some places where you have jumped from one fact to another, which has made the story a wee bit confusing. However don't let that discourage you. Keep on writing and you'll only get better as you keep going

This was kinda cool, but really confusing. I think if you find yourself a good beta-reader and develop your short "chapters" into actual full length chapters with more details, then this could potentially be a really good story.
As it stands, though, you have a nifty idea that just hasn't quite come together yet. Nice effort, though.
