Author's Response: Thank you, I'm really glad this had the desired effect!
Author's Response: Wow, well done! You're right of course, I assume it was the line "I was almost he" tipped you off. You are one of the few to read this story on the net and guess correctly so well done! I'm delighted you liked it so much.
Was it Ron? I had thought maybe about Dumbledore, but him being a grandfather? And him still being alive? Hehe. I like how you did the conversation, though, and how you put some of the child's emotions in there, too. Great job!!
Author's Response: No actually, it was Neville. The clue was "I was almost he" along with a few smaller tips. Interesting idea though! I'm really glad you liked it, and thanks for taking the time to review!
Author's Response: Not exactly - I put in the summary that it was a lament for the loss of Dumbledore between a grandfather and his grandson, so it's about the night that Dumbledore died, and a little about Harry's journey after that. If you keep that in mind it will probably make the story much clearer for you - and let you know who the grandfather is. Thanks for reviewing!
