Awesome! I totally did not see that coming! And oh, the subtle hints, the Malfoy slip, the interest in Quidditch, wow! JKR would be proud.
Author's Response: I'm so glad. I've always been a fan of the whodunit, and the puzzle about the little girl in the corridor in HPB made me want to come up with something equally head-scratching.

I had to read this, after I saw who it "starred." What are the odds, BOTH of us picking Colin Creevey, LOL. I really liked this. I like your turns of phrase -- "acrid miasma," really liked that description. Did NOT expect the twist with Goyle, nicely done!
Author's Response: When I read yours, Madeline, I suddenly realized that I had Colin hearing the 'fresh pickled toad' line first-hand, but of course he couldn't since he had been zapped by the Basilisk. (I edited it, of course *blushes*.)Thanks fro being so 'up' on canon! We all learn from each other, don't we?

I absolutely love this. There's a certain charm about the writing that makes you want to read more. I'll definitely be looking into further writings by you :D
I especially loved the part where Draco bothered Goyle about being 'gay' hehehe. It amused me greatly.

Author's Response: I've always wanted to embarrass the evil trio of Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle. It's not enough that Harry and the DEs managed to turn them into pustulous slugs at the end of OotP.
