This is the first fiction, I have read that starts by using the Daily Prophet. It is a really unique idea and works very well. The Genvea Convention is very clever and provides good history to the piece. The interview with Jessica is what it should be and sets a chilling tone to the piece. Overall, Excellent start and I hope you update soon.

Author's Response: Thank you, the Geneva Convention idea comes from being a history teacher. I'm glad that you are enjoying it.

You have presented your story in a way that has journalistic overtones. You have given an excellent historical background of current events. You have described an interview of a survivor with such clarity of intent.

Author's Response: Thank you for both taking time to review and the words you have chosen to review. I'm gushing with pride at the moment. Although my wonderful beta readers have to take a lot of credit for the prologue.

Kathryn! I'm so happy to see your story here! This first chapter is great! The way it starts to set the mood for the rest of the story. Great job!

Author's Response: And you might want to keep an eye on it here as it's slightly different from the way it's written on other sites. (As you have probably noticed.) Due to wonderful beta's I have two versions of it.
