I'm glad you decided to share this piece. Each of us has the need to explore the themes of loss and grief and even death, and you've done a very good job of it. With themes of Harry's defeat of Voldemort and the memories of happier times with hs friends, you've made his death meaningful and understandable.
I found your description of Ron finding Harry's body and his hesitation to open the box Harry gave him particularly poignant.
The piece doesn't wallow in sadness though. Hermione's baking frenzy, her thoughts on having babies with Ron, and the memory of the tart-eating contest provided a bit of needed, wry relief for me.
Thanks for both: the pain and the humor.
*sniff*
I-I think I'm okay now...
*sob*
Hang on, I think I need a moment alone...
