The writing style took some getting used to, but I like. Very original. This made me think of Alice In Wonderland -- I'm not quite sure why. I do like the ending. I imagine there must have been times when Hermione did second-guess her choice to embrace her magical self.

Wow, that was touching. I love how it was written from the Narrator's point of view. I always wondered what Hermione's mother was going to say to her leaving to go off and save the world. Great job!!
Author's Response: Thanks, Luna! I like writing in third person, especially when I don't want thoughts to mess up the tone. I've always envisioned Hermione's mother as a little heartbroken, so . . . my story was (sort of) born. Ta-da! :D Caren.
