That was bloody brilliant. As the funeral was going on, I kept trying to guess who this wizard was -- NEVER guessed the ending LOL. Wonderful!

Oh, I love it! Very Thurber-esque! And Filch fits the Walter Mitty character beautifully... a little downtrodden, a little "used by the world"... his fantasy of dominance is very in keeping with Thurber's story.
Overall, an excellent characterization of Filch, fitting with canon, yet drawing in a parallel from a completely different genre. Very nicely done!!!
