Wow! This is an awesome story! I love Meet Me In St Mungos and your husband is right, Voldemort singing I feel pretty would be hysterical, but one of the twins doing it instead was a riot as well and so like them! This story has everything from a 'Pretty In Pink' theme to angst and even humour. I thorougly enjoyed it. You have kicked the challenge up a notch for sure with this fabulous entry. I'm a sucker for a happy ending, so I loved the proposal! Thanks for a great read!!

Author's Response: *blushes* Thanks Dianne, I'm glad you liked it. I didn't know that it would have the whole run of emotions but I started depressing myself so I had to include something... I'm feeling all romantic too, so I had to go for a really happy ending. :-)

Well...I think you captured Ginny perfectly in this. Her absolute frustration and misery at being dumped, ignored, and left behind. I thought you did a wonderful job, mixing angst and humor together to produce an entertaining tale.

Excellent entry that makes it that much more unlikely that my feeble attempt at this challenge will win! Curse you!!!! :) Seriously, this story really is a roller-coaster ride emotionally. I was reminded of the movie "Sixteen Candles" to some degree. :) I think it works perfectly as is, though I'd not complain to see more, of course.

Author's Response: Bah! I am glad you enjoyed it but don't count yourself out yet. I love the movie Sixteen Candles... but I hadn't thought of that when I wrote it, however it does seem like that with the emotions all over the place. :-)

Well done! You captured the feelings of everyone very well. This story had humor, angst, etc. I would love to see you continue with this story or, at the least, one more chapter that details the defeat of Voldemort and the aftermath - maybe even the wedding. Thanks for sharing!

Good story, as expected. Looks as if a few typos escaped the proofreading process. Cute trick of Hermione's with the candle. :-} Would have been worthwhile, I think, to get the reactions of the rest of the family to the proposal & response.

Author's Response: Doh! Well, we did try and catch them all and I thought about sending it to you. Ah well. I was trying to keep it at a managable length but the family's reaction would have been fun, especially Molly yelling at them :-D
